Our Film Studio architects have been hard at work on Elstree’s plans to improve and expand their facilities
The Big Brother House at Elstree Film and Television Studios has been dismantled freeing up sufficient land to accommodate two new state of the art sound stages that we have designed to meet international space standards in studio design and we have now submitted a planning application to Hertsmere Borough Council.
The new stages will be located adjacent to the existing George Lucas Stage, on on the site that was occupied by the Big Brother house and outdoor eviction set.
The image above shown shows how the new building will fit in to the site – overlooking the backlot currently occupied by hit Netflix drama The Crown.
The new workshops will be sited alongside the existing workshops where Big Brother’s production gallery was located.
Authorities will now review the proposals, before deciding whether or not to greenlight them in November.
